At the Shelter Shop in Belleville earlier this week I found some great buys. A friend I was with unearthed this beautiful lace studded with rhinestones long vest with scarf, for just $8. I found a summer Izod purse that looks very "Lilly Pulitzer"ish in a hot pink and lime green tropical print with white leather accents and a vintage summer straw zippered clutch, both were only $2.25 each, and I'm ready for summer!

NU THRIFT SHOP

There's a new thrift shop in the area.  Nu To You located at 102 S. Main in Smithton recently opened. They are selling Men's, Women's and Children's Clothing, small furnishings and household items.  A portion of proceeds go to local charities and donations are accepted.  Their hours are Mon., Tues., and Fri. 9 to 5, Thurs. 10 to 7 and Sat. 9 to 2.  Closed Sunday.  For more info call 618.222.7370.
